In 2001, Franck Ravez associates his passion for the sail and his knowledge of teak, and creates Iguaçu.

Graduated of the Higher School of Trade of Lyon, his function of purchaser for a retail group led him in South Asia East where he develops his expertise of the exotic wood,in particular on teak.Coming back to France, he decides to reorientate its career towards the marine market and revives an activity of marine joinery which had just disappeared.
